How to modify style headings to create table of content hyperlinks?

I want to modify the style headings to create hyperlinks
to those locations in the document from the table of
contents. Help! Thx.

Hi John

Unless I'm missing something in what you are asking here, no modification is
required. Build your table of contents using the styles of your headings,
and you will find by default the entries are hyperlinked.

Word already does this automatically. In Word 2000 and above, the entire
entry is hyperlinked by default. In Word 97 and earlier (and in Word 2000
and above if you choose it), just the page numbers are linked.
