How to merge PST files?

Hi,

Environment: Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003

My firm sends and receive lot of emails daily, so we told the user to
archive their emails into PST files.

But some of them have created several differents files like : archive
april, archive march, archive july...

Now they are lost. I would like to keep it simple and merge all these
files so they will only have one archive.

How can I merge PST files ?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Julien

Open or create the PST you want to merge everything into. Then open the
first PST you want data from using the File menu > Open > Outlook Data File
and drag/drop the data you want into the main PST's folders. Close the old
PST by right clicking on the root of the folders and choosing Close.
Continue this process until you've merged all the data you want.

Thanks a lot for your help Vince and Ricardo but I'm trying to get this
done automatically, by a software or a admin tool...

In fact, each archive has been created by the Outlook auto archive
option.

and their archives are now full of subfolders.... if they do it
manually it will probably take them a long time...

Any ideas ?

Thanks again.

manually merging files is of course time consuming when the number if pst is large. Give a try to SysTools pst merge as it can help you to merge pst files perfectly.
