On trying to uninstall a program, I discovered that
Windows will not let me uninstall as it instructs me to
log in as administrator, which I am. No matter how many
times I visit "User Accounts" and set up my account with
me as administrator, it will still not recognize me as
the admin. and allow me to uninstall unwanted programs.
Is there any way I can get Windows to accept me as the
administrator? Thank you.

Logon in safe mode with the built in administrator account
and try to uninstall the program.

if you still cannot uninstall the program, it's likely you have a
parasite that has removed your administrator's privileges.

Parasites slip into a computer and run without the user's
knowledge and cause all kind of adverse conditions.
