How to make the first page of document in different colour?

Hi!
I want make the first page in red colour. If I use INSERT- COVER PAGE I get
only ready samples. Perfect result I get only by using PAGE LAYOUT- PAGE
COLOUR. But then all document stays red.

Page Color always applies to the whole document; it's intended primarily
for web pages, and it won't print unless you specifically instruct Word to
do so (in Word Options).

One way to do what you want is to anchor a text box with no border and a red
background color to the first page header. See
