How to make that only the document was displayed on a worksheet, all other
worksheet area outside of the document borders just filled with grey color?

Hi,

not clear; I mean make that all outside my document margins should be just
grey color.

Hi,

Its looks more handy is select few next columns and few rows and fill it by
grey color.

thanks,

breeze

You could try this:

Go *one* column past what you wish your last displayed column is to be.
Select the *entire* column.
<Ctrl> <Shift> <RightArrow>
This should give you a selection out to the end of the sheet, to column IV.
Right click in this selecti0on and choose "Hide".

Do the same thing for the rows, using
<Ctrl> <Shift> <DownArrow>,
taking you down to row 65536.

Is this what you're looking for?

to be honest, can no reproduce, not clear. Need I select column next the
document border? <RightArrow> -? Does you mean vertical scroll bar?

thanks,

This has nothing to do with scroll bars.

Try it first on a new, empty sheet.
Select the entire column E by clicking on the E at the top of the column.
Now the entire column is selected and colored grey.
Hold down <Ctrl> and <Shift>, then hit the <RightArrow> key.
Yor screen should now be *all* grey, with column "IV" visible at the right.
Place the "white cross" of your cursor anywhere in the grey, and Right
Click.
From the pop-up menu, click "Hide".

Now you should have columns A to D visible on the left, and a "grey" area on
the right.

Is this the effect you're looking for?

If it is, you can do the same thing with the rows, using:
<Ctrl> <Shift> <DownArrow>.

Just re-read your post.

The <RightArrow> and the <DownArrow> pertain to the arrow keys on your
keyboard, to the left of the number keypad.

Yes, I mean this the effect, now its work. And, how to unhide to normal, if
necessary?( righ click not help).

Click in the small grey square that's left of the columnA label, and above
the row1 label,
*OR*
<Ctrl> <A>.

This selects the *entire* sheet.

Right click in this selection and choose "unhide".
This should unhide your rows.
Now right click in one of the column labels (A, B, C, ...etc), and do the
same thing.
