how to make everything on computer english language only

believe the computer i both on ebay is one designed for europeans. i do see
quite a few items in chinese...and some symbols on keys, don't match when key
is struck and results are shown.

how can this be corrected? computer is still under warranty.\

Although this has nothing to do with Word - the subject of this forum -
check the keyboard layout in Windows Regional settings matches the pattern
that you actually have, and that the region is otherwise set for your
location.
