Hi,

When clicking on "start" below in the left corner and then on "Documents", i
get above "My Documents" and below a list of 15 accessed documents.

How can i make that list empty and how can i prevent that the last accessed
document is added to that list?

Thanks
Dave

Start > settings > taskbar and startmenu > advanced >
clear. I'm not sure if you can stop it from showing but
you can always delete

You can empty the list with Start; Settings; Taskbar & Start Menu; Advanced;
Clear.

To prevent the list appearing, get TweakUI. If you can't find it on the
Microsoft site (they tend to hide it every now & then) you can download it
from:- http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/tweakui.

After you've installed it, open it from control panel and select the IE tab.
Uncheck 'Add new documents to Documents on the Start Menu'. Documents on the
start menu will then only show the My Documents icon (+ a greyed out 'Empty'
icon.) You can also useTweakUI to completely remove the Documents entr from
the Start Menu - amongst many other things.
