how to make a water mark?

You can make use of WordArt. Click Insert > Picture > WordArt.
Select the select style.
Click Ok.
Type the word you want to display.
Click Ok.
To set transparency, right click on the WordArt, select Format WordArt.
Under Fill, set the transparency to about 50%.
Ok your way out.
If you want to place it on all the slides, select the WordArt, click Edit >
Cut.
Now, click View > Master > Slide Master.
Paste the WordArt on the content master.
Finally, close Master View.
