How to make a single record query to pricing inquiry

I have a table designed with material, color, size, price/unit of measure,
etc. I would like to make a single record query/form where you select down
to a specific material record and then enter things like quantity, customer
discount, etc. and calculate a price. I've searched help all over and can't
get pointed in the right direction. Could somebody help me out?
