How to log on without username & password ?

There's a server that doesn't require a username & password.
In Windows 2000, I simply leave the username & password
fields blank and click OK, and I can access the files.
However, in Windows XP, the OK button is grayed out unless
something is typed into the username field.
Is there a way to log on to the server without having to enter a
username? Thanks in advance.

Yes, if you are the Administrator and a single user. If you have the Guest
Account turned on, it will ask for an input.
Start/Control Panel/User Accounts/Change how.....etc.

I removed all the accounts, except one, the administrator account,
and I turned off the Guest Account, but still no luck.
When I try to log on to the server, it still asks me for the username
and password, and unless something is typed into the username
field, the OK button is grayed out. Something must be wrong
with my computer

<START><RUN><CONTROL PASSWORDS2>
Uncheck the box requiring users to enter password to logon
<OK>
In the resulting dialog, enter the USERID and PASSWORD (twice) for the user
you want to autologon.
<OK>
