Hi I can not work out how to get windows xp pro to log on automatically
without requiring password. in user accounts there is no option for this. i
am logged in as administrator.

In your Control Panel, go to User Accounts,
Change / Create a password.

Make sure your password is blank.

If you have a password, blank it out.
