how to lock the cd tray?

I know that it is probably very simple. How to lock the CD tray? My little
baby is playing by pushing the cd open button... So, I'd like to write a
little program and put it on my desktop which will lock the tray. How to do
that?

Not entirely sure the framework provides this functionality *but* I've not
really spent too much time checking, however there seems to be a lot of
shareware that purports to do this.
