How to know the postion of record

Dear all,

I have a form and on from there are a listbox with Row Source from a access
table and some textbox. I would like when i click on listbox the selected
record will appear on textbox. I use docmd.gotorecord acdataform," formname",
acgoto, absolute postion of record. However, I don't know to get absolute
postion of selected record (value of listbox).

Could any one can help me?

Maybe I have misread your question, but records do not have absolute
positions in a table. A table is more like a bucket than a list.
