Hello,
I know how to install Windows 98 without CD but i want to know the
exact answer:

How can i install Windows XP from another partition of HDD?

Which boot floppy diskette should i use and which commands should i
type?

Think that, i have no CD-ROM and i have Windows XP CD's files in a
different partition and how can i use DOS?

Please help

You should be able to use a win98 boot floppy.
1. Boot from the floppy disk.
2. Ensure smartdrv is running. (it speeds things up a bit, from the prompt
type "smartdrv" be sure its on the disk or in the path)
3. Change drive to D:\ which I assume your second partition will be.
4. Change directory to the i386 folder & then type "winnt.exe"

This should start the setup process and after a while the normal XP setup
routine will take over perhaps after a reboot.

Hope that's OK for you.

Neil

Thanks, but is there another way as alternate which is VERIFIED?

Thanks.

Neil,
Your advice does not valid under NTFS as you know FAT and FAT32
supported under Win98.

For NTFS?
