There is a large space between 2 text boxes but I could not insert anything
in it. If I do an "insert table" the table will be created inside the first
text box.

If I insert a picture, it will also be placed inside the textbox, however I
could be able to drag it outside ...

you'd set up a table with enough cells/ columns that each textbox would go
into a cell/ column and whatever you want in the cell/column in the middle.

Chris: let me explain what I am trying to do here: I simply could not put
my cursor outside my 2 textboxes, with mouse click or key stroke. The
cursor always stays inside the textboxes. That way I could not add any
object outside the boxes.

By the way, the original web files was created with MS-Pulbisher and
converted into .htm file. I am using FrontPage to do some enhancement ...

Jack -

As Chris said, you'd set up, e.g., a table with 3 columns and one row. Put one
table in the left column, one in the right column, and whatever you want to add
in the middle column.

BTW, it is not recommended to use Publisher to design web pages.

another problem that happens with using Publisher...if anything overlaps in the Publisher design...it will convert it to a graphic image when you save it as html.

In the long run you'll save a lot of time by *not* using Publisher to create html pages.
