Hi

i have win2000 server domain i make some folders shared on
the domain controller for example
folder X:
only G User can open this folder (have
permission)
but what if that user make shortcut to some file inside
that private folder and put it in the folder Y: that all
the users can see
ofcourse all the users can access his folder so
i know the solution is to sit from the security tab this
user only instead of every one but i cant do that because
i want to inherait to the subfolders and it appear every
time the Every one as default so the question is
HOW CAN I SET THE SECURITY FOR SPCIFIC USER AND INHERIT IT
WITHOUT APPEARING EVERY ONE?
THANKS FOR ANY HELP

If a file inherits from a parent you can EITHER:

Disconnect inheritance
or Overide it at the file (using the opposite setting Allow/Deny)
