How to increase the number of files displayed when I click 'file'

In Excel, How do I incerse te number of files dsplayed when I click the file
button?

Two files are currently shown and I want to increase this to ten.

Tools | Options | General tab | Recently used files list.

I think the maximum is 9

Depends on which Model your driving? incase this is
2007
Click Excel Icon>Advanced>Display>Max = 50
