How to increase disk space in Outlook

We have been having an on-going and intermittent bouncing email problem
(error message: your mailbox is full). Our email provider says we need to
increase our disk space. How do I do this? (We have three computers.)

Thanks!

Delete some mail - it is saying that your mailbox allocation is over the
limit. You can delete mail, archive it, remove attachments and empty your
deleted items folder.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

What kind of email? Who is your provider? Web mail often gives this error.
Never leave your email on the server for any long time. You should download
it, removing it from the server and store on your hard drive. When your ISP
says increase your space, they mean your mailbox on the server, not on your
hard drive. Web mail providers severely limit how much you can leave on the
servers. POP mail can clog up, too, if you don't download regularly and set
the "remove from server after 5 days." option. With 3 computers, you can set
the last computer to access the mail to download, while the other 2 "leave
mail on server." Then all 3 have access.
