I have a VERY large spreadsheet and a VDERY lengthy word doc. I need to show
a few rows of the sheet in hundreds of places within the word doc (different
sections of the sheet each time). Every time I do this, does the entire
sheet get attached as an object, so that I have the entire sheet attached
numerous times, thus ballooning the size of my word doc? If so, what methods
can I use to keep the size of my word doc under control? I have already
finalized the sheet data and have converted all formulas to their resulting
values.

Why not just insert a picture of the rows you want your readers to see?

Hi Bill:

To create the picture of the rows you want to show in your Word document,
simply highlight the rows you want to show and depress your Shift key while
clicking on Edit. Then select Copy Picture. You can then paste the picture
into your Word document. I hope this has been helpful to you.
