How to import access into Word

We are trying to use an Access database of names and addresses to make a
printable directory. How do you download access data into Word?

The database includes elementary students names and parents addresses, phone
numbers and email.
 
is there a particular reason you have to print it from Word, rather than
creating and printing an Access report?

Read about mail merge in the help. But a simple report in access would save
you time.
