How to I change the default appointment time from 30 minutes 1hr

Is there a way to change the appointment time in a calendar from 30 minutes
to 60 minutes as a default time.

Change the time scale to 60 minutes and see what happens. Right-click a
blank area of the calendar and choose Other Settings.
