How to get keys that you press to look like the keyboard keys?

When writing directions, how do you get the words such as Enter or Tab to
look like the keyboard keys?

I saw this just a few weeks ago and it was simple but I did not write it
down and I forgot how to do it.

Find a font that contains these characters. Look for font names such as
Keyboard, Keycaps, Keystroke, and the like.
