How to get in word 2003 the same dictionary gui that was in 2000?

I don't like the dictionary that comes with word 2003, I want to see the
dictionary the way it was in previous versions of word

Comparing Word 2003 and 2002, when I press F7 and there's a spelling error,
I see practically the identical interface. What version of Word are you
comparing with Word 2003? In particular, what are you seeing now, and what
were you seeing before?

If you want the old thesaurus, you can use Word's built-in ToolsThesaurus
command, rather than Lookup (Tools - Customize - Commands tab - All
Commands - ToolsThesaurus.) You can drag it to a toolbar, assign it to a
key, or put it into a shortcut menu (the latter using the Shortcut Menus
item in the Toolbars tab of the Customize dialog).

OK, We are getting close!!

Your method of getting the old tesaurus works, now I want to get the old
translate tool (I used mistakenly the term "dictionary" I mean to translate
to other language). Can you help here also?

Looking at Word 2000, I don't see a Translate feature (except for Translate
Chinese, which is quite different from what you're talking about, I
believe).

If you're comparing 2002 and 2003, both use the Task Pane, although
"Translate" (which was in 2002) has now been superceded by "Research" in
2003, which incorporates the translate function.

Since both Word 2002 and 2003 both use the built-in Translate command,
there's no way to get the exact same look & feel in Word 2003 that you had
in 2002.
