How to get Form Fields to be 'exactly' adjacent to each other & look "Spreadsheet like" ??

In a subForm I need for each record to be displayed in 3 rows...

So... using "Datasheet View" won't work (too many fields)

Therefore I've selected "Continues Forms" as the view.

Now I'm trying to get all the fields and field titles to align as closly and
tightly as possible.

I would like for each row of fields and titles to look like the datasheet
view... all fields exactly adjacent to each other...

I would also like for each row to align perfectly with the row above and
below.

I've got snap to grids turned on but it seems each Data Field overlaps the
other somewhat... giving the form an imperfect appearance.

Is there a trick to getting all the data fields to line up exactly so that
the form looks something like a spreadsheet?

thanks for any help.

You'll want to use the Align, Aize and Horizontal spacing commands in
the Format menu to get these fields to line up perfectly. The mouse is
a very imperfect tool, and we mere mortals are not as capable as
aligning objects as the software can do for us. With continuous forms,
the fields will automatically align in the vertical sense as each
record is displayed, but you'll want to perfect the alignment of each
field along the horizontal plane.

--Select all of the fields that you have placed along a horizontal
line.
--Click FORMAT in the menu.
--Point at SIZE.
--Click on TALLEST or SHORTEST, to be sure that all of the fields are
identical heights. (If you are not sure which result to choose, try
one and see what it does. You can always UNDO, if you want to switch
to the opposite result.)
--Then, once again, with the same fields all selected, click FORMAT in
the menu.
--Point at ALIGN.
--Click on TOP or BOTTOM to get all the fields to be in perfect
horizontal alignment. (As above, test and UNDO, if necessary.)
--With all the same fields still selected, click again on FORMAT in the
menu.
--Point at HORIZONTAL SPACING.
--Click on MAKE EQUAL.
--Then use, FORMAT - HORIZONTAL SPACING - DECREASE as many times as you
need to make all of the fields touch each other without overlapping.
