Hi,
I'm trying to format 1TB USB hard drive. I use XP professional. I read many
online documents and understand that I can format a drive upto 2TB (without
partition) using NTFS. However, the formatting progress does not go beyond
25%, which is about 256GB. I tried to format the drive using command line and
the disk management. One of my friend used to run into this problem also and
he had to partition the drive into pieces so that each piece is smaller than
256GB. But I want to keep the drive as a one big drive. Any suggestions,
solutions? Thanks.
