How to force a computer to log off?

Is there something in the group policy that I can set a timer on each user's
computer to log the computer off if the computer is idle for a number of
hours?
 
This was discussed around 6 months ago in this newsgroup

Apparently he wasn't here 6 months ago. Would you kindly answer his
question if you know the answer.

Bob,

You cannot get idle time with Task Scheduler. Besides, if you have a non Windows XP
machine your idea will fail
 
Newbie,

Try this, open Scheduled tasks, double click on a task , Schedule tab,
click the "Schedule Task" pulldown. and select "When Idle".

Also this group IS Windows XP, if they want a solution for a non Windows
XP machine, they should post to the correct group.

AFAIR yes. There're some screensavers that can lock the desktop or
logoff user. Use google to find... ;)
