How to fix problem with dpvsetup.exe

Hello

Please help me to solve problem with: An error occurred during direct play
voice setup 0x80004005

A lot of peopel has same problem.
I used a lot of methods for fix this error.

I used all methods in
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 810686
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 261657

I don't have MCafee and SideWinder Game Voice

Hi,

First:
=====
1. Click Start ->Run.
2. Type sfc /scannow (Note: There is a space between sfc and /scannow)
3. Select the OK button.
4. Follow the prompts throughout the System File Checker process.
5. Reboot the computer when System File Checker completes.
6. Update the drivers from the sound drivers from the manufacturers website.

Second:
=======
Boot from the CD. If your system is set to be able to boot from the CD, it
should detect the disk and give a brief message, during the boot up, if you
wish to boot from the CD press any key.

Once you have pressed a key, setup should begin. You will see a reference
asking if you need to load special drivers and another notice that if you
wish to begin the ASR (Automatic Recovery Console) depress F2. Just let
setup run past all of that. It will continue to load files and drivers.

Then it will bring you to a screen. Eventually, you will come to a screen
with the option to (1) setup Windows or (2) Repair Windows Installation
using the Recovery console.

The first option, to setup Windows is the one you want and requires you to
press enter. When asked, press F8 to accept the end user agreement. Setup
will then search for previous versions of Windows. Upon finding your
version, it will ask if you wish to Repair your current installation or
install fresh. Press R, that will run a repair installation. From there
on, follow the screens.

After performing the XP repair process, update the sound drivers from the
manufacturers website.

Thank you very much for you replay, but these methods dosn't fix this
problem.
I'm too sure, because i used this and sismilar methods.

This problem appeared several times. I think problem was with System Suite
5.0 Register Fixer

Yesterday I found method for fix this problem.
I found my old normal registry file (backup.) when voice test worked
correctly.
After i make import old registry and fix error.
