Hello,

My partition table has just become corrupted; My first partition (C:
drive, NTFS) is no longer valid. Based on the following output from
findpart, how can I fix it? What do 'BU' and 'NB' under the 'BS' column
mean? TIA.

Hello,

My partition table has just become corrupted; My first partition (C:

findpart, how can I fix it? What do 'BU' and 'NB' under the 'BS' column
mean? TIA.

It is on my pages. BU is based on backup boot sector.

The boot sector of the primary partition is damaged, and if the
partition was an NTFS partition, the partition table is wrong, since
the entry is for a FAT32 partition.

It can be the 128 GB problem, or it can a more benign problem.

If data are in the damaged partition, the preferred method will be to
hide the partition in the partition tables, and then insert the disk
as second disk in a working system knowing disks larger then 128 GB.
And copy files to disk using as example Findpart.

Findpart version and operating system version should not be cut from
Findpart output.
