how to fit A4 document in A5 size in one page

Don't know, however, this may help :
1. Select File - Print
2. In Print Dialogue box, bottom right corner, drop down to
"Pages per Sheet" and select 4 > OK
3. Document will print with 4 pages per sheet of paper
(more per sheet is too difficult to read)

Or, use a imaging program and reduce the size to A5 before you print/post ?
 
A5 is half A4 not a quarter!
Printing two pages per sheet would be nearer the mark.
