I'm not sure why you posted this in the Windows Mail newsgroup, but your
Toshiba manual will clearly show you how to turn on the wireless
adapter. IIRC, Toshiba laptops have a small switch on the case that
needs to be on. If you didn't get a paper manual, there will be a manual
installed on your computer - probably under "Toshiba" in the Start Menu
- or you can look up the details on Toshiba's website.
