I'm using outlook 2003. I have some mail folders which point to pst files in
other machines. When those other machines are disconnected from the LAN, how
can I find the path of those pst files since the properties of those mail
folders are disabled? Also, when the outlook starts, it will try to locate
those pst files. Is there a way to stop outlook from looking for those pst
files but not removing those mail folders from my outlook?

You can look in registry :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles
You will find all profiles, and all services inside profiles.
