How to find and recover deleted Distribution List

I had a large email distribution list under the Outlook Address Book. It
has disapeared - I don't remember deleting it.
1) what is the file extension to try and find and recover?
2) I have a list of everyone on that list under my bcc in sent folder. I
tried to copy and paste to recreate Distribution List - but that didn't help.

Suggestions - there are over 100 entries

Did you look in your Deleted Items folder?

There isn't any. It's not a Windows File System construct. It's an entry
in your Contacts folder.
