how to file,edit,view,etc back on top of screen

When I go into excel now I do not have my file, edit,
view,etc.. up on the top of the screen. None of my other
Icons are up there either like my print or save buttons.
Would anyone know how to get those back up there?

Paul,

Unfortunately, I do not have a menu area. The only thing
I have showing now is the bar that says Microsoft Excel
Book 1. There is nothing between that and my area to do
formulas.
