Hi,

I have some characters in field that I'd like to remove. My field name is
"CAST" and my table name is "DVD_EXPORT_DATA"

Here are some fields examples :

", Per Christensen, Per Christian Ellefsen, Sven Nordin"

", , Achero Manas, Albert Vidal, Angela Rosal, Armand Assante, Fernando
Garcia Rimada, Isabel Prinz, Jack Taylor, Juan Diego Botto, Loren Dean, Louis
Di Giaimo, Michael Wincott, Sigourney Weaver"

", , , Antoine Bourseiller, Brigitte Bardot, Chantal Goya, Eva-Britt
Strandberg, Michel Debord"

", , , , Antoine Bourseiller, Brigitte Bardot, Chantal Goya, Eva-Britt
Strandberg, Michel Debord"

Those are the 4 patterns that I'd like to remove at the beginning of the
field.

Thank You

Hi again,

I have finally succeeded in erasing the pattern ", ," and " , , ," and ", ,
, ,"

but I can't find a way the erased the single comma pattern ", " at beginning
of the field.

Is there a way to erased the 2 first characters of the field, so I can
isolate those fields thru a select query and than run an update query on
those after ?

Thanks
