Hi there,

Now I would like to limit the access right of my standalone notebook users
in order to reduce the support call. I set their wxp local account to local
groups of backup operator, user, network operator.

However I found with these settings, user cannot change WXP "power
management" settings which controlling the suspend/sleep of display &
harddisk.

Wondering how can I those local account access right to control the power
management settings?

Many thanks!

Hi

In the thread in the link below you will find a description on how to
configure a computer to allow normal users to alter power scheme
settings without being added to the Local Administrators group.
