how to enable the password

i use windows xp professional with sp2.
i have an administrator account as well as a user account. both
password protected..
my problem is that during startup there is no startup menu asking for
the password..
and i am directly getting loggged on as the administrator.
what is the problem and how can i resolve it?

Go to Windows control panel and choose the user accounts applet then
select the way users log in to the computer...
