How to eliminate the editing marks in Tracking the Changes

After i have made editing changes and finalized them with others in my group
i now want to SAVE the document WITHOUT the changes. So i go to View and then
Markup and the editing marks that show the changes disappear. That is great,
so i save the file. BUT then when i open up that file all the changes come up
and are shown in the document. How do i save the document without all the
editing marks ?

You have to ACCEPT the changes, which turns them into plain text. All
you've done so far is to hide the display of the revisions.
