How do you edit or delete information in the top information bar in OE?
Mine says: "Outlook Express provided by AT&T WorldNet Service." I don't use
AT&T WorldNet Service anymore, and I would like to change or delete it. Any
information or help to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Hans,

Click start/run, type regedit and click ok. Expand the + signs to reach this
branch:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{CLSID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0

The CLSID part differs from machine to machine, and there may be more than
one, so you will have to search a bit. In the right pane. look for a string
that reads WindowTitle, double click it to change the name.

If it doesn't exist, right-click in the right pane and select new-->string.
Call it WindowTitle, then double click it and put whatever you wish to have
it called in the value line. Deleting this string will remove any branding
and leave you with just Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Close regedit and open new OE window, the change should be immediate.

Rick "Nutcase" Rogers,

I've never done a regedit before, so my first attempt at finding the right
key was quite baffling and difficult. However, after playing around and
searching for a while, I finally found the WindowTitle string. Changed the
name as you indicated, and I now have a new title bar to my liking. Thanks
so much for your prompt response and your excellent directions. Much
appreciated on my part.
