How to edit phpbb in frontpage

For those you have had experience with phpbb. Here is a simple question.
How can I edit phpbb pages in frontpage. This morning, I don't know how I
did it, but I was able to bring up the phpbb index page in design view and
change images, border colors, the works, now it only brings up the code, and
nothing in preview. Was this morning a fluke, or should I be able to edit
phpbb in design view so I can see what the heck I am doing since I am not a
programmer.

Configure FP to be an editor for PHP (in html mode)
Tools Options Configure Editors, add .php and FP (html) as the editor
