I have a vacation video, shot by a friend. He wrote the tapes onto a DVD and set it to me - this is all I have access to

The DVD plays fine, but is very long and in sore need of editing

Opening the DVD in Windows Explorer, I can see a number of BUF, IFO, and VOB files. The VOB files seem to have all the video and sound in them

The question is, how can I get these VOB files into Windows Movie Maker (either directly or by converting them) so that I can edit them down?

Check what few notes I have on the Importing Source Files > Video > Discs
page of my site....

....... and use www.DVDRHelp.com as a resource.
