hi all...

we've got a non windows-based computer as a server and
connected directly to the internet.
I want this server to provide all of the updates for all
client computers ( winXP based ).
For this purpose, I made my own web site in the server to
provide every latest updates, so the client shoud go to my
web site and download the updates.
Since it's not a win-based computer, I find difficulties to
download windows updates from this computer because
microsoft site always rejecting everytime I go to the URL (
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com )
So, I should do some "fake" update from one computer
running winxp, and note the updates ( such as KB8...Q...)
and then search and download it in microsoft web site.
<sniff>
Is there "easier way" to do this stuff, or maybe there's
some nice URL to search and download the latest updates ??

Thank You,

Hi

You can download the individual updates from the Windows Update Catalog:
