Tilt your paper?

You need something other than Word if we are talking much text. You can use
Word Art to do some interesting things. Insert > Picture > WordArt.

One interpretation could be to format it as italic, but if you're wanting
text at an angle (other than 90 degrees), you'll need to use WordArt or
another application.
