How to display a variable value in a dialog box and how to read user input?

Sorry for this newbie question, but how do I display a variable value from a *.vbs script
in a dialog box and - secondly - how to read a user input from a dialog entry field
into a *.vbs script variable?

Hi everybody in the newsgroup languages.vb,

I think we should not answer this kind of question, it redirect automaticly
to the scripting group, so probably we are dumping that newsgroup full with
answers and everybody there is suprissed.

In my idea is somebody making much fun about this.
