how to disable yellow tags?

Hello All,

I have a presentation with some hyperlinks within the file and some
hyperlinks to other files (in the same folder). When the
other-presentation-hyperlinked object is moused over, a yellow tag appears
telling you where the link goes.

Is it possible to turn of those yellow tags?

Thanx!

Right-click on the link and choose Edit Hyperlink. Click on the "Screen
Tip" button. I wasn't able to remove the yellow box entirely, but it gets
a lot smaller if you just type space in the Screen Tip are. It will just
show a small yellow box, instead of a big yellow box with a lot of text
in it. Maybe someone else can help you remove it entirely.

There is a way, but it ...

1) isn't pretty
2) will not run unless VBA is enabled
3) will not run with viewer
4) may cause global warming
5) should not be used while in the shower

Simply convert the hyperlink to an object tag, then, instead of hyperlinking
the object, set the action setting to fire a macro that looks to the tag
for the 'hyperlink to' address and follows that. The cursor will change
when over the object, but the yellow 'where to' tags won't activate.

How are your VBA skills?

Well, depending on how warm this global shower gets...my VBA skills can be
considered as:
1) not pretty

and:
2) I will not run unless the ALP is enabled (ALP - Amsterdam Local Police)
3) I will not run with the viewer neither! (unless she's well shaven and
into global warming, too)
4) thus, saving lot's of energy my friend!
5) not even when I am alone?
