How to disable update links in ppt. (without breaking links)

I want to disable update links message when I send my slides to others. I do
not want to break links, as again in next version I want to upadte the links.

Use Edit, Links to set the links to Manual rather than Automatic update.

You shouldn't then see the "Update now?" question on opening the file.
You'll need to choose to update the links when you want them updated, though.
