How to disable PC Speaker

Every time a message box pops up in Windows (e.g. "Do you want to save before closing", error messages, etc.) my PC Speaker plays a "beep". It is quite annoying and I can't figure out how to stop it. It is my work computer and there are no audio devices/sound cards installed, so everything is disabled under "sounds" in the control panel. I even tried disabling "system speaker" in the device manager and it still does it. Please help!

Thanks,
Miles

disable it in the bios or unplug it
