How to disable auto-launch Internet Explorer?

My computer always launch internet explorer when i turn
on my computer although i didn't connect into the
internet.can you please help me?

Look under Start>Run>type 'msconfig'>Startup (tab) go through the list and
see if Internet Explorer is listed..If so UNcheck it.
