How to design for a printer you don't have?

My client has a rather expensive credit card printer.

I have an Access 97 report that I created on the PC attached to that
printer.

When I open the report on my development PC it wants to switch it to the
development PC's default printer.

Is it possible to install the printer driver for the credit card printer on
my development machine without having the printer actually attached? The
development PC's OS is Windows XP Pro.
