How to delete too large outgoing mail - delete key doesn't work

I tried to send a large file through outlook and now the file is stuck in the
outgoing mail. The delete key won't delete it. What other options are there?

You have to take Outlook (or the computer itself) offline and then delete
the message. Assuming that you are using Outlook 2003, you would select
File > Work Offline.

For earlier version, you might find it easier to start the computer w/out a
network connection. Start Outlook (don't let it start a dialup session if
configured to do so). Once Outlook is up, you should be able to delete the
item since the sender thread can't do anything.
