how to delete specific taskbar icons from Customize Notifications menu

Is there any ways that I can remove specific taskbar icons
permanently from Taskbar Customize Notifications Menu? I
know you can choose "always hide" (so that the icon won't
appear in the taskbar), but I have some icons I like to
delete from the Notifications Menu. Someone told me that
I need to deal with REGISTRY but I am not familiar with
that. Please help!

download "tw402.exe" tray wizard from my site which is in the xp\XP Gui
Tweaks folder to manipulate the notification area without going through the
registry.

Hi,

A current item or past item? For current remove the run key or use these
options. For past items look below.

Check for an option to not having the icon load in the System Tray via the
program(s) in question.

Other options for removal:

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.

Or...remove the runkeys from here: Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Remove Past Items From the Notification Area (Line 53)

Once done, Open Task Manager, click the Processes tab, click Explorer.exe,
and then click End Process. In Task Manager, click File, click New Task,
type explorer, and then click OK.

The "Past Items" values are written to the registry as part of the user log
off process. This is why it is necessary to "crash" Explorer, so the system
will re-read the new values, and not retain the old ones that are already in
memory from a reboot.

Not one thing in your reply did in any way address his question.
